FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER, INC

Family Resource Center, Inc. (FRC), formerly Women’s Resource Center, is a private non- profit agency that was incorporated in 1981 to establish a programs and services for victims of crime in the US Virgin Islands. Our services began in 1986 with the opening of our emergency shelter for women and children. Since that time, FRC has expanded services to meet the needs of all victims of crime. All services are offered at no cost to the clients.

Family Resource Center sustained damage at 3 different properties including our main office and the Alice Hamilton Shelter. These funds will be used to help our agency rebuild and restructure the services we offer to the community.

Helping to provide relief supplies for those with immediate needs. These funds will be used to provide for the distribution of food, water, baby supplies, batteries, solar powered equipment, clothing, shoes and other much needed supplies.

Dove donors’ consistent support enables FRC to provide food, clothing, crisis counseling for children, individuals and families. Services include: advocacy, referrals, education, outreach, and an emergency shelter.

How FRC is helping!
  • Despite the pandemic, FRC has never ceased providing services to victims of violent crimes.
  • To meet the increase in demand, FRC partnered with several local hotels to confidentially host victims of violence who were in imminent danger or seeking emergency shelter.
